We are not your typical Baptist Church!

We are people of all ages and abilities,  of all economic backgrounds and political beliefs, who believe that we are one in Jesus Christ and that God does not see our differences but is more interested in how we love and care for one another.  Together we love Jesus Christ; we love one another as best we can and we come together to journey and grow together as disciples.  We enjoy being together, worshipping together, learning together, serving together and relaxing together.   We have a great sense of humor and love to laugh!

Lyle Webster, who grew up in First Baptist Church, plays lead guitar in our praise band, sings in the choir and serves on the Board of Trustees, says:  “Here at LFBC, we are many souls, united on one path, while remaining solely responsible for our individual spiritual journeys.  Though differing in personal style, we have joined our singular pursuits for the greater good of fostering each others’ growth, as we seek to build our rendition of heaven on earth.  As we build the Kingdom up, while becoming ever-stronger family members to one another, we seek the true leading of the Holy Spirit to guide our steps, both individually and corporately"
Our Vision Statement

We, the First Baptist Church of Littleton,

Growing in faith and love through Jesus Christ,

Journey by listening to God’s sacred beat.

With compassion we reach out to our neighbors both near and far

And serve where the world’s deep hunger and our faithful response meet.

Jesus said that these were the most important commandments therefore we humbly seek to follow them in our lives both inside and outside the church:

Mark 12:30-31

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
